Products are weighed while moving on the belt; the reading is taken when the product is fully on the weigh belt. Anything outside the set low–high limits is rejected by air jet or arm without stopping the line.

Because weight data is logged, drift in the filling setting shows up early: giveaway can only be reduced once it is measured.
